Allah created man and woman and arranged them to have multiple natures: between anger and gentleness, eagerness and patience, laughter and tears, sadness and joy. Sadness is a human nature, which is permissible in certain circumstances and disapproved of in others.

Anyone who analyzes the condition of many people today will find that some of them carry a sadness that leads them to despair and frustration, and causes stress that wears them down physically and afflicts them morally.
This is why I decided, seeking help from Allah, to write on this subject from a religious and educational point of view, while demonstrating the causes of sadness and what leads to it, the ways of treating it, in order to comfort the saddened and relieve the afflicted.

So if your trials are overwhelming you, this book is for you. Its main message is beneficial advice combined with a reminder of the highest
importance: “Do not be sad, Allah is your Lord.”
